February 1st officially marks two years of my naughty posts!!! In celebration of all things naughty, and for a chance to win one of many fabulous prizes, I am leaving the blog open to you. Tell me which of my posts was your favorite and why and you will be entered to win one of the following:
The Romance Collection: Featuring some of my favorite movies of all time, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, VICTORIA & ALBERT, EMMA, JANE EYRE, LORNA DOONE, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, TOM JONES (which is my favorite, favorite, favorite of all!) and IVANHOE.
This is a 14 DVD set (worth $50) I am gifting to one special blogger.

And five book bundle prize packs all autographed by the authors. Yes, that means five people will win 5 books. Those books are LORD OF PLEASURE by Yours Truly, STOLEN SEDUCTION by Elisabeth Naughton, SEDUCED BY SHADOWS by Jessa Slade, CARDS NEVER LIE by Heather Hiestand, and SWEET AND DIRTY by Christina Crooks (and I will warn you, Christina is not only my Critique Partner but one VERY naughty writer. I am a nun in comparison to her...)

Be sure to post anytime during the month!!! I will be announcing all 6 winners on February 28th in the comment section. Return on the 28th and see if you win and how to collect your prize. And next month (March)...scurry back as I intend to be delving into the amazing and dashing life of Casanova himself.
Cheers and much love,
Delilah Marvelle

Ooh, I'm first, I'm first! I've been a fan of your naughty blog since post one and am still confounded how such a sweet person can have such a deliciously raunchy side. You might have been a Victorian, m'dear.
Congratulations on two great years, and I'm lifting a glass of Mimosa to many more (it's morning, must have my Vitamin C)
Hey Delilah! Congratulations on two very naughty years of this wonderful blog :)
My favorite blog was the history of the dildo, I found it so interesting how far back the dildo actually goes ( I didn't think it went that far back ! ) and how you also mentioned that at one point doctors used it to cure ''hysteria'' in woman (I would never have thought it!) ...anyway thats my favorite blog. I look forward to them every month, so thank you Delilah :)
Hey Delilah..Desiree here....
Congrats on the 2 years. Can't wait for more books of yours. There great.
I'd say what really caught my eye was the Flagellation. I never thought that whips have gone that far back or that they were even used for pleasure reasons back then. It really had never occurred to me. I learned a lot bout Flagellation.
My dearest Lisa, Antoinette, and Desiree, as of now you are all getting prizes, LOL, as I have six prizes to give away. So congrats on being the first three to post and for making me feel so loved.
Do not enter me in the contest because I have all these books. :)
But I have to comment because I love all your posts. Goodness, aphrodisiacs, dirty Shakespeare, the history of the Overcoat, and all the relationship advice! LOL!
Keep posting, they are awesome!
REAllY?! Thank you Delilah! and when you ever need to feel loved , you can always turn to us. :)
My dearest Ms Marvelle, your a wonderful writer with flare for the erotic. Interesting post with the illustration, I've always wanted to try that with my husband (unfortunately he'd say something stupid and my vixen would come at him full force);~) I've always wanted to try being a dominatrix as I've always been the submissive.. That made me think of this when I seen it.
Can't wait to see your next books..
take care sweetie,
Jenn
My dearest Therese,
You are such a sweetheart! Thank you for your amazing post and support. XO
My dearest Antoinette,
You will now be on my "she will love me" list, LOL. We all need go to peope :D
My dearest Jenn,
I may have to send you a whip and handcuffs so you can make yourself and your hubbie happy! Next year, I'll give away black box prizes. Promise. Grin.
I have to admit, I found your blog after finding your first book on the shelf and devouring it. I loved the post on the scandalous madame and Lord who you based The Lord Of Pleasure on. I look forward to reading each months entry. As always you are very entertaining. Please just never stop.
Congrats on the anniversary, Delilah. I found your condom post very informative. I remember when I first came across the term French letters in a book and it me a while to realize what it was. Had no idea there were called English overcoats, too.
Happy Anniversary, Delilah!!!
How can I choose my facorite post? I narrowed it down to two....The History of the Dildo and the Naughty Shakespeare post.
I look forward to many more classes in my 'naughty education!!"
Best always!!!!
Rachel
My dearest Nancy,
Thank you for always being so amazingly supportive!!! Muah!
My dearest Jane,
It's funny how condoms are so popular with everyone. Grin. The English always liked to push sexuality off onto the French (hence French letters) whilst the French always pushed back (hence English riding coats...). Gotta love history.
My dearest Rachel,
Yes, the dildo and Shakespeare go hand in hand, LOL. Shakespeare would have been proud that it went in that order, too. Thank you so much for posting!!!
Wow, trying to pick a favorite is hard!! I love the dos and don'ts for husband and wives, That picture from your naughty, naughty post right after RT made it perfectly acceptable to be late with your blog :) but I think my favorite would have to be about Ninon de L'Enclos. That is my favorite because I love that she was strong and independant even back then when it was close to impossible. With every post I am amazed at what you have uncovered during your researching :) Keep it coming!
I really liked the post on Ninon de L'Enclos and the post on cross dressing. How do you find all of this information? is it all primary sources? very impressive.
p.s: your post that mentioned the Marquis de Sade's writings made me want to buy one of his books lol.
Hi Miss Delilah =) I found your blog! Wow, I am so ashamed that I have been missing these all this time. Have read a few now and let me say! Glad you pointed me in the right direction.
Kisses and love your way and I hope the writing is still going fabulously!
Hello darling!!
What a wonderful contest!
I especially loved your "Don'ts for Husbands" post. I just thought it was hilarious that not much has really changed between men and women over the centuries.
=)
Wow! I can't keep up with all the posts, LOL. This is SO cool. I knew that giving away stuff would make people post!
My dearest Linda,
Ninon was one of my favorite posts, too. That woman kicks ASS. Totally reminds me of you. Grin.
My dearest Amalia,
I own a TON of out of print books and am always buying lots of books off of estates and cross reference a lot of the information I come across. So a lot of it is research and book based. Whenever I'm researching for a particular book I come across information that I usually set aside for other books because they're so dang fascinating. And YES, you should totally read Marquis de Sade. It's actually a lot more tame than people think...In life he was more wicked than his books were (in my opinion..)
My dearest Lori,
The fabulous news is that you found it! that is all that matters. And now you have every month to look forward to, LOL.
My dearest Natalie,
Don't for Husbands was a RIOT putting together. And you're right, NOTHING has changed. Big sigh. That is why we have romance books, LOL.
I really enjoyed the one about aphrodisiacs - wow...
I lost ur link before so i couldnt post first i havet o say I loveeee your books congrats on the 2 years of naughty writing! deff am following this blog now will read the posts and let you know which are my favorites
Congratulations on your two year Anniversary, Delilah! :) As of now, I would have to say that this post is my favorite, for it brought me here and I can see that I have some very interesting reading to do! ;)
oh i have to say this post about dildos and spanking are seriously hot and interesting deff love this blog
Dililah.....Congrats! I can't wait for the novella in July and the three books in 2011....you go girl! I love all the "A Bit O'Muslin" posts very educational. My favorite is the fagellation. Mrs Berkeley had some great ideas...I wonder what crossed her mind to think of these positions of pain during that era.
OMG...I want to be the lady sitting under the angled 'horse.' Yum! lol
When I was in England in 2007 Alan
a friend of mine and Karen his girlfriend took me to a boot sale (flea sale) and I bought a pair of black thigh high stiletto boots. We stopped by Karens place and she mentioned she had a whip. I said Show Me! Show Me! Karen decided to will me her whip. She said she'd never use it. I told her if I got the chance to use both boots and whip I'd give it a go! *grin*
P.S. You have guts girl. I can't believe you twittered about Chong and the tattooed seashell. I love it!!!!
I was really surprised and amazed by your History of the Dildo. Just thank heaven you did not write a book about it !.
I love coming across these sort of articles about the history of things that I think most of us never evn think about.
Carol
Congratulatons on two "naughtY' years. Great contest!
Looking forward to your Scandal Series.
Happy Valentine's Day!!
i agree deff looking forward to the scandal series
Hey Delilah,
Can't wait to read your new series. I just read the exerpt and Bradford is a sexy sexy guy. Yvonne
This is my first time here but; I found the "Don't For Wives" very entertaining. Going to look around a bit more. You are a new author to me & i will be looking for your books.
Enjoyed reading the comments. I have had a good time reading your blog entries especially the one on Don'ts for Wives. Sure got a laugh out of that. The one on condoms for men was hilarious as seen through 20th century eyes.
Can't wait to read your new series since I have likde you other books

My dearest Delilah, Choosing a favorite from your blog posts is difficult. I shall name a few that I found particularly helpful: the one on Ninon L'Enclos was a little sad because of her son, but otherwise quite nice; the one on condoms was helpful for my writing; those on instructions for men and women were funny as well as interesting. Keeo us the great posts.
My dearest Lynn,
Thank you so much for posting! Yes, those aphrodisiacs makes a gal appreciate depending on her looks to lure men...
My dearest Sara,
Thank you for the congrats on my series! I am excited to reveal a grittier and darker side of myself combined with the humor I love playing with. And I'm so thrilled you found my blog!!!
My dearest Sinn,
I should have been handing out dilos and whips for prizes, LOL. Thanks for the congrats on my blog anniversary!!!
My dearest Carol,
I think a lot of people are surprised by the history of the dildo. I find it fascinating that so many people have a tendency to think that people in history weren't having sex and enjoying all of its glories. People back then had even more time on their hands then they do now, so I imagine it was a favorite past time.
My dearest Jlynn,
LOL about sitting under that angled horse. And I thought *I* was naughty!!! You sound like my kind of girl, boots whip and all. And yes, Mrs. Berkeley was a savvy business woman who understood there was a growing need to meet the needs of men who enjoyed pain...
My dearest Danielle,
Thank you so much for posting!!! Happy Valentine's Day to you as well!!! Muah!
My dearest Yvonne,
Yes, I think Bradford is *VERY* sexy. Grin. Wait until you realize the sort of bad ass he is. I had so much fun writing him!!!
My dearest Sue,
Don't for Wives is one of my favorites, too! So thrilled you found me and my blog. This is my research haven I love to share with the world and prove that hot historical romances are based on freakin' reality...grin.
My dearest Joye,
Thanks for the huge compliment on my books!!! And yes, having a modern understanding of history (and condoms...) has its humor, :p
My dearest Caroline,
Ninon and condoms. I know she would have loved hearing the two together in the same word based off of my research of her, LOL.
Thank you so much for posting!!
Congrats on two years and thanks for all the enjoyment I've received from your blog. I'm one of those lurkers, but have been with you for some time. My favorite posts are the two which had Don't for wives and Don't for husbands. Some of those made me laugh and laugh and some are just so true.
Congrats on the 2 years. This is my first time here but I will definately be coming back. I've been reading the comments posted here and your entries sound interesting. I think i'm going to check some out and follow from now on.

I didn't know you had a blog girl!!!!!!!!!!! WOWIE......wonderful! Well now that I am here, I like it......and hey, maybe I will even win!!! LOLOL Looking forward to your new books, especially your short.......Joanne
Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!!It's hard to believe it's already been 2 years. @ great years at that. The dont's of a wife and the do's of a husband were great but I mostly love reading all your posts. I have visited other blogs where they write about history but you really get into the parts that others do not want to. I love it and find it more fascinating. Thanks so much for all the great posts and Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Congratulations Delilah: thanks for all the history that I never been taught in a classroom. Oh, love picture of the "arm wrestling."
Delilah, my dear !! Congratulations on your anniversary and I wish you many, many more !! I have a number of your blogposts printed and housed in plastic sheet covers in a notebook - strictly for educational purposes, of course!
And to pick just one? Good lord! I have to admit a deep fondness for Filthy Shakespeare simply because when I taught high school English lit I piqued my students' interest by handing them a sheet filled with many of your examples and asked them to figure out what was so "dirty" about them. After that they couldn't get enough of him!
I also have a soft spot in my heart for Ninon simply because she was the kind of woman we would all like to be and the tragedy involving her son is just so poignant and romance novel worthy!
Of course the history of the "overcoat" and the dildo are two more of my favs!
Most of all I am THRILLED about your new contract and SO looking forward to more of your wonderful books on the shelves !!
How perfect it would be to win any of these prizes that I'm trying for on Valentine's Day.
Delilah, I'm SO GLAD you will be publishing once again. I'm a BIG fan. Anxiously awaiting 2011.
Ann
Hi Delilah!
First Congrats on the Anniversay. Second, Happy VALentines Day and third, I like the blog on Flagellation. I never knew the facts surrounding it and didn't realize it went that far back in history. Thanks for the post! I look forward to reading more of your books.
Hugs

Congrats on the anniversary. Your blogs on Aphrodisiacs for Freaks and the Don'ts for Husbands/Wives were highly entertaining, as well as educational! ;-)
Congratulations on your anniversary! You have enlightened and entertained us for a long time and I look forward to hearing more!
Delilah, I only wish you posted more often. I love having historical information about and related to sex. It's one of my favorite areas of study. I honestly have a hard time picking my favorite post, so I'll list two. "In the very beginning..." because I never thought of the potential metaphor for the apple being Eve's vagina, even though I always rant about so much in the Bible being metaphor. (Jesus spoke in parable, why wouldn't the people writing the Bible? Why must there be so many literalists?) My other favorite was "My Secret Life" because I feel like I must post the quote "Nature has placed the woman's clitoris so that it cannot escape man's fingers" in every men's bathroom I can find. I still know plenty of guys who under-love the clitoris ... much to the detriment of their sex lives. Keep writing; I can't wait for your new series. I only wish the other series (started by Mistress of Pleasure) had been continued. I actually wrote the publisher (as a publishing student--I'm getting my MA in publishing) to ask why, but I never got a response.
Lol maybe you should of but honestly ur work is amazing and I love your posts i hope you post more will have to come out of lurkdome more often
Delila, I am new to this site and I must say WOW! I have spent the day reading your posts. They are informative and entertaining. I am a lover of history myself. I loved your first post about Adam and Eve. I have never thought of it that way but it makes entirely too much sense. I also loved the dont's for husbands/wives. I agree that none of those would have saved my marriage! I can not wait to until your next book comes out. Until then, I will enjoy your posts.
Thanks!
Congrats on your 2 Naughty Years!!
Great contest and prizes!!
Of course we are going to post, we all love you Delilah..^__^
I love your series and I can't wait for the Scandal Series...sounded really interesting. The prologue was good.
Congratulations!!!
I've been follow you since the first one, every single one of the is great and enjoyabble. I think my favorite ones is the husband's and wife's dos and don'ts. It gave me a great laugh. LOL...
I liked the Don'ts for Wives. I was shaking my head and giggling at most of them
Hi Delilah,
I just started reading your blog. That should keep me busy for the rest of the week. Great stuff here.
Bill
OMgosh! I can't believe I've fallen behind on keeping up with all the posts. Thank you to all of you who posted!! I wish I could give away prizes to each and every one of you. (But then I'd be broke and well...) Just know that I love you all :D
Hey Delilah,
Congrats on the anniver.
Favorite post would have to be the one on "Saving the School", BBB had an interview and contest at the same time. Anyway with out the interview & post, I wouldn't have found your books or the blog.. so that one comes first. {Shakespeare is a very close second.. love "The Bard".}
I mentioned during the BBB contest I couldn't believe all publishers would be so stupid.. I've very glad they are not. Can't wait for the new series to start, and hope that one day the school can be reopened....
Thanks for including everyone in your anniversary, and sharing your gifts of stories and interesting information..
